While New York retains its unique charm all year round whether it’s a swelteringly hot summer or a snowy winter, there are periods of the year when the weather is a bit milder for those who want to avoid the extremities of summer and winter. Many choose to visit New York from April to June when the weather is pleasantly warm but not too hot, or just after August through to October as autumn comes. There are three different airports in the city of New York - New York John F. Kennedy, New York Newark and New York La Guardia. The largest airport and the busiest in the entire United States is New York John F. Kennedy which handles over 56 million passengers every year. The airport is located in the borough of Queens and is comprised of 8 terminals, although some are now marked for demolishment and not currently in use.

Getting from the airport into central New York is quick and easy with the JFK AirTrain which runs at all hours, taking around 1 hour to get to Manhattan. There are direct flights from both Abu Dhabi and Dubai to New York John F. Kennedy via Etihad Airways and Emirates.

Those flying from Dubai are also able to arrive at New York Newark with Emirates. New York Newark is an international airport handling up to 40 million passengers each year, while New York La Guardia is a dedicated domestic airport serving over 28 million passengers a year.
