When to Visit Armenia

Armenia benefits from hot and dry summers which make it a perfect summer destination for sun lovers, although over the winter it can get bitterly cold. However, there are plenty of things to do in Armenia all year round so any visit will be a rewarding one. Be advised that the country experiences something of a rainy season in April and May, so this may be a period to avoid if you don’t like the rain. Cheap flights to Armenia may be easier to find over winter as very few visit due to the cold, although if you book early enough you can find excellent prices all year round.
