If you are up for the challenge then consider hiking up to some of the mountain panorama spots to enjoy spectacular views over the city, or take a boat trip out to the fjords and see the vast Norwegian wilderness up close. In Bergen travelers can also look forward to a diverse calendar of festivals and cultural events each year such as the Bergenfest during the spring or the two-week Nattjazz festival at the beginning of the summer.
