Zurich Travel Information

Switzerland is a part of the Schengen Area so there is no need to worry about applying for a visa if you are a UAE national. Remember that Switzerland has its own currency, the Swiss franc, and does not use the Euro like many other central European nations, so make sure you change the correct currency before traveling. If you are visiting Zurich over the winter then the weather will be a significant change from what you are used to in the UAE with temperatures regularly dropping below freezing and frequent snowfall. However, temperatures over the summer can be pleasantly warm with average highs of around 24 degrees between July and August.
