Perfect For Travellers / Business People On The Go

We selected Cotswold Gardens Armidale, as it suited our budget for a two-night stay, great location… only a 3-minute drive to the city centre or approximately a 20-minute walk. Cotswold Gardens Armidale is a family owned and operated motel. Check in was fast, the staff at the time, was very welcoming, helpful and friendly, he issued me with a key to open the door to our room. The presentation of our room was very clean, had all the necessities you need (body wash / shampoo and conditioner dispensers on the shower wall, coffee/tea condiments, air con and the necessary appliances), to make our stay comfortable and our bed and pillows were comfortable. You also get free Wi-Fi and a flatscreen TV with Foxtel installed. They do provide continental breakfast, which you need to pay at Reception (opened at 7am weekdays, 7.30am Saturdays and 8am on Sundays). We didn’t have breakfast there, as we had a lot planned for the day, we wanted something quick and easy and had breakfast at Moxon’s Bakery (approximately a 3-minute walk from the accommodation). If you are super tired and don’t want the hassles of finding a place to eat out for dinner, they also have a restaurant ‘The Manor Restaurant’ (Tuesday to Saturday – 6pm to 9pm). The Manor Restaurant menu looks of high quality – not suitable for young children… in my opinion (see menu attached). Pets aren’t welcomed on their premises due to health regulations. They do have a gym available from 7am to 9pm, you need to collect the key at Reception but nothing fancy – poor effort, it’s just a treadmill, total gym and an exercise bike inside an enclosed glass gazebo – doesn’t look like many, if any, have used the gym equipment for quite a while. Free parking available on-site. Check-out was super easy, just drop your keys in their drop box, located outside reception and continue on with your travels. I highly recommend Cotswold Gardens Armidale, great place to rest, nice and quiet, conveniently close to the city centre, budget friendly and perfect for travellers or business people who are staying there for a night or two – convenience at your fingertips.

After a long drive on the Waterfall Way in the pouring rain, it was wonderful to find a comfortable room, and a delicious room serve meal. So a big sign of relief I didn’t need to go back out for food. Oh I almost forgot, great water pressure in the shower!

Convenient, Comfortable & Quiet

Clean, Comfortable & Quiet. Certainly is an aged motel however we were comfortable in our stay and it was nice and quiet after 4 very noisy nights on the road staying elsewhere along Waterfall Way.
Our Superior King room was large and comfortable.

Restaurant Gem

The large bed was very comfortable, the room was big enough and all amenities adequate. Bathroom was spotless! Room was lovely and quite quiet!
However the carpets were in a desperate need of a good deep clean.
The restaurant was a real gem, quality food and reasonable prices.

Great property, quiet, super clean and very helpful staff.

This was my second stay at Cotswold Gardens. The property is super quiet and very clean. Amazingly, the noise between rooms is better than any other motel I have stayed in. The beds are comfortable, and despite the cold, the rooms are comfortably warm with heating as required. The hot water for showers in winter is excellent. Brand new TV's and Foxtel installed while I was there created excellent viewing of the Olympics. I will be staying again next time I visit Armidale and I would highly recommend.
