Nice place, great location, but small improvements could make it great
Once we were able to get the room cool, it was a nice place and we had a good view (deluxe king with a bar fridge).
They have a great Laundry facility (speedy), a nice pool and gym, and the shower is very good. It's paid parking (not free). We opted for the underground parking which can get crowded, but we were able to find a spot.
The location is quite good - we were walking distance from most town sights. And there's a big grocery store about a 15 min walk.
CONS
* The hotel thermostat is totally messed up because the symbol for cool is the same as the symbol for heat and it doesn't match the order of the sign that provides instructions. We had to have somebody come up and show us how to get the room cool.
* We arrived before check in time, and the front desk staff said they were going to email us when the room was ready, but did not. The room they had assigned to us wasn't ready but there was another one just like it -- if we hadn't asked, we wouldn't have gotten in.
* We asked for ice and they said they'd bring it right up, but 30 minutes later we still didn't have it, so I went down to get it.
* They do not have hand towels, only wash cloths, which make drying your hands after using the bathroom very difficult.

While the hotel's facilities and standard amenities were comparable to other accommodations, the cleanliness shortcomings significantly impacted our overall experience. We hope that future guests will not encounter similar issues and that the hotel will take steps to address and prevent such occurrences in the future.
