Like at home

If you look for a five star hotel you better stay away. It is not an hotel but a bed and breakfast and both are excellent. Great beds and even better breakfast thanks to Ted who is a great cook (sorry...chef!);).
When we arrived (earlier than announced) it was a bit of a mess but Ted gave all he could an tidied the whole house within half an hour and we had a nice chat, coffee and tea on the house. It should be the beginning of the best b&b stay we had until now as Ted is great company.

Perfect for a Quick Trip to Bastogne

We stayed here for one night (Friday-Saturday) while we were in Bastogne for the Historic Walk. The room was nice, quite simple but included everything we needed. Our bathroom was located outside of the room (in the hallway), but we received a key and did not have to share with other guests. Soap, shampoo, etc. not included so make sure you bring some if needed. Our room was *very* cold, even with the small heater on, so I would suggest bringing some warm socks and pajamas if traveling in the fall/winter. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and beyond what we expected. We received eggs, ham, bacon, toast, sausage, fruit, croissants, pancakes, coffee, and juice (all included in the price of the stay). I would stay there again for the food alone. We did not interact much with the owner of the B&B but he seemed nice, and we got along very well with the other guests staying there.

Super verblijf!

Onverwacht kwamen wij zonder slaapplek te zitten met een border collie van 9maanden... Begin maar eens een hotel te zoeken waar hondjes mogen!
We kwamen uit op deze B&B en werden met open armen uw ontvangen. We kregen 's avonds nog een super lekker 3gangen menu en onze stress van die dag smolt als sneeuw voor de zon. Het ontbijt de dag erop was enorm lekker en ook de gezellige babbel was zeer leuk! De tips die we kregen (waar eten, wat te doen in Houffalize,...) Waren meer dan welkom en zeer handig.
De kamer was trouwens lekker knus en goed in orde met goede bedden (ook niet onbelangrijk....)!
Ik heb niets dan goeds te vertellen over deze B&B en over Ted. Wij weten waar we volgend jaar op vakantie gaan!

Basic kamer, vriendelijke gastheer

De kamers zijn ondermaats. Beperkt meubilair. De vriendelijkheid van de gastheer compenseert dit deels. Lekker ontbijt voor zoetebekken. Diegenen die een stevig ontbijt willen, moeten het stellen met spek en eieren.

Super fijne b&b met hartelijke gastheer

Erg warme welkom, mooie en schone kamer. Heerlijk en uitgebreid ontbijt.
Gastheer is erg meedenkend en welwillend.
Heeft zelfs de optie om te dineren bij hem, wel even van te voren aangeven.
Kom hier graag nog een keer!
