A wonderful InterContinental
We have the King Terrace Suite in the 6th floor. Ground floor with views of the cathedral chosen.
The room was very well and generously equipped, including bathtub and separate rainfall shower.
The terrace we could not really use due to the weather.
The staff was friendly and mostly attentive
On the day of departure we got a "private tour" of the spa and fitness area, by the nice gentleman on site.
Breakfast was also very good. You could also choose from a menu of freshly prepared dishes such as Eggs Benedict, pancakes or bagel with salmon. The espresso was delicious and was prepared with the strainer carrier.
Criticism was the somewhat slow service and the hesitant clearing of the tables used, so it was hard to find a place on Saturday.
Overall, I was absolutely delighted with the hotel. We also liked Sofia very much, so we will certainly repeat it sometime.
Very convenient is also the arrival by subway. In 25 minutes we were at the airport for about 82 Eurocents

The Hotel Executive asistant manager acknowledged my comment and send me a card however come with a set of amenities as same as the welcome amenities. Can see how robotic and service without heart.
Club lounge very nice, specially those serve attitude are different. F&B staff， housekeeping and concierge great hospitality but not front desk.

Excellent location
We found the service levels throughout the hotel to be very good...especially the concierge. Our suite had a wonderful view of the Cathedral and featured a large separate lounge and bathroom. We didn't have access to the Club Lounge but the breakfast served in the Ador restaurant was a very decent buffet spread which included various cooked-to-order options for eggs or pancakes. Unfortunately the eggs Benedict we ordered was covered in a hollandaise sauce that had split.
The hotel has a small gym, steam room and sauna albeit there's no pool.
Overall, we enjoyed our brief stay at this centrally located hotel.

Intercontinental Hotel : Simply the best in Sofia!
Our rooms could not have been nicer. They were well appointed, very clean, and had all the amenities one would expect from a 5* such as the Intercontinental Hotel. The rooms we had, offer an unrestricted view onto the city and of the Cathedral.
The buffet breakfast was excellent providing a wide range of food that was refreshed regularly. Staff were very helpful.
The gym and spa looked lovely, I wish we had had time to use them.
I could not find any fault with our stay in Sofia at The Intercontinental Hotel!
