Hotel in the Jungle
Check-in at the hotel is official at 3:00 p.m. Eviction until 12:00. We arrived on a direct Aeroflot flight from Moscow around 6 a.m. to Phoenix Airport in Sanya. At the airport, you need to scan your fingers a few times. After us, he picked up the transfer from the biblio globe.
Came to the hotel. The guide moved breakfast from the last day. We put our suitcases at reception and went to breakfast.
The reception on the ground floor has sofa beds with baldachine, you can lie there.
We were told to wait tentatively until two, so we went for a walk to the sea. We got back at 12 o'clock and they already gave us a room.
If someone wants to pay for early occupancy, you can pay for it right away. There's a service. And you can pay for early check-in when you get to the hotel, but we didn't. Decided to settle in at that time.
Number
We lived in a three-bedroom family room on the 8th floor overlooking the sea in the first building. Room is spacious, plenty of air, huge balcony. Two bedrooms, living room with kitchen, two bathrooms, two showers. The first bedroom had a large double bed. The second has two single beds. In the living room there is a sofa, armchair, kitchen table, chairs, cooking island, large fridge with freezer.
The room has two bathrooms and two showers. The bedroom with a large bed also had a bathtub. When we booked, we were promised a bath on the balcony, but it wasn't there. When they were so tired, they didn't find out anything and basically we were fine with it.
In the bathroom they give sets with toothbrush and paste, a razor, a hat, soap, cotton pads and discs. Also shower gel and shampoo.
Bath robes, disposable padded slippers, rubber slippers, a mitten washcloth and an umbrella were waiting in the closet.
The towels in the room were changed daily. Blue towels were given to the beach.
In the kitchen there is water, tea black and green, mugs big and small, saucers. We bought the knife from the Zhenya store.
We really liked the room for its scale and huge balcony with chic views.
Cleaning's fine. Although we didn't clean up on the last day, but I wrote a guide and it was sorted.
Water and tea were brought in daily.
Frogs croaked at night. You could hear them with the balcony open. But we didn't.
No TV was used, so I won't tell you about Russian channels. Our favorite “channel” was the balcony with incredibly beautiful views.
We didn't find the safe in the room, but all the valuables and money were safe.
One night above us, on the ninth floor, Chinese moved in with a big family and at night we couldn't sleep because of the noise.
Contacted the guide, said they'd change rooms if they needed to. But the rest of the day was nice and quiet, so we stayed at our place.
Territory
Territory is what captured our hearts. And the reason we chose this particular hotel. The area is huge and green. It's a pleasure to walk on. And when you don't want to go for a walk, there are golf carts that are carried around the hulls. For a long time we never waited for a car, because they drive people fast and there are two cars driving around the grounds.
There are two swimming pools for adults and children. We were in January, so we didn't go swimming. It's cold water for us. But there were those who were comfortable with the water. Sunbeds next to the pool, wooden chairs. You could just sit or lie by the pool.
From the hulls to the reception area leads a path along the grounds with ponds, colorful fish and bridges. We used to love to walk there. They took bread at breakfast and fed fish.
The hotel is located at the foot of the mountain, where the famous glass bridge is on top. It's about seven to 10 minutes by car. He's right there.
There's a kind of gym on the property. It has washing machines with washing capsules. And also the steamer.
In the building where the breakfasts take place is a children's room on the ground floor.
The restaurant looks old. Especially the tablecloths on the tables. I'd rather have them removed altogether. And the glass in the windows is asking for replacement. That's what caught the eye on day one. Then you don't notice it. We liked the big round table where we liked breakfast.
Nutrition
We only took breakfast.
European cuisine is practically non-existent.
But we always found something to eat. It was mostly Chinese. Something sharp, something not sharp. We need to try. You could have noodles and broth at every breakfast. There were always eggs. You can make toast. There was no cheese.
Breakfast positions are many. You just have to choose.
Fruits every day (watermelons, pitichaia, mandarins, melon and some fruit-- a mixture of apple and plum). Everyone's favorite was watermelon, it's very sweet.
Delicious desserts. We loved egg tart and cream bun.
The usual breakfast also included yogurt, cornflakes and bananas.
From drinks juices, water, tea, coffee. Coffee and milk are normal, you can drink.
I'm a vegetarian, so my breakfast consisted of baked vegetables, eggs, fruit and desserts. Sometimes I'd take salted fried peanuts.
On the whole, we've always been full.
Breakfasts run from 7:00 to 10:30.
There are also dinners, but I don't know anything about them. I just saw what people eat at the restaurant tonight.
Location
The hotel is on the third coastline from the sea. He's about 15 minutes away in a calm step. We weren't worried, we were ready for it. There is also a shuttle service every half hour with a break. It was driven twice, the bus was packed to the ground. But nobody stood. Stops by the tower. I recommend going to the beach that is to the right of the tower (if you look at the sea). Going towards McDonald's and on and on. There you can find a free sunbed and lie under overhanging trees that create cool. And there were always fewer people there. There's a public toilet on the way. There are also street vendors of fruit and trinkets.
There is a bus stop near the hotel. There is now a single 349 bus, which can only take a couple of stops to the terminus and take other buses that run to neighbouring bays. There used to be other buses that ran along the bays and all the attractions, but they were cancelled.
Five minutes from the hotel there is a street of food that runs in the evening. There is a second street of food across the street, and there are restaurants and various shops.
I sincerely recommend the shop "at Zhenya". It's on the side of the hotel near the food street. We need to go straight through the CFC to the pond. At the store, we bought fruit, souvenirs, tea, alcohol. And also booked tours.
Excursions with transfers through Zhenya were cheaper than if you drove yourself and bought a ticket.
In general, Yalongbei Bay is expensive and small. We didn't go to the neighboring bays, but the prices there are cheaper for food and other purchases. That's why this bay is not for frugal recreation. Restaurant prices are high. Outdoor tents are acceptable. We ate rice or noodles with vegetables and shrimp, price 28 yuan. It was delicious and a good portion.
It's a 40-minute drive from the airport to the hotel. Of the three popular bays, it is the furthest. But it's the closest thing to a glass bridge in Tropical Paradise Park or Yanoda, and an island of monkeys.
One night we were walking around the bay, the adjacent hotels. I liked the fact that you can go into any hotel, see what's there and how. To choose for the future. In general, the bay has many good and modern hotels.
Conclusion
Hotel with beautiful and large grounds. Already old. And some of its sites need restoration. Holidays are not for lazy tourists, as you need to walk a lot. Aestheticians and lovers of green spaces suit. Modern hotel lovers aren't here. For those who want to immerse themselves in Chinese food and the atmosphere of the jungle hotel will be very suitable.
