Chilling and bird watching in comfortable location

Comfortable large rooms, beautiful expansive park, great restaurants, lovely place to bird watch without leaving the park. Or to just chill in the pool or on the railing of the restaurant. Covered hiking trails so rain is not a problem. The lodges on the river are the most beautiful! Easy to reach by car. Plenty of parking space. Everything about this park is eco. The wifi is excellent.

Beautiful lodges in the Costa Rican nature! Lots of animals to spot. Nice breakfast and delicious Italian restaurant.

Very nicely furnished lodges located in the rainforest.

Rafting on the Sarapiqui is for daredevils!

Excellent stop

Rustic lodges with great facilities and setting. We were lucky to have a river view losge, we could have sat all day bird watching..
The rooms are large with seating area inside and out. Beds are comfy and the rooms have air con and fans.
The pool was small but clean. Breakfast was ample and a great view over the bird feeding station. The pasta/pizza was excellent.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We did a morning and evening tour and our guide Carlos was excellent.
We really enjoyed our stay here and could have stayed longer.
Advice would be to ask for a room away from the road as it is a main road and very busy and noisy!

It's on the road, but it's full of nature.

I was a little worried because it was a rokuji on the road, but it was also Sarabiki and it was a place full of nature. It's a shame that the low altitude makes it muggy compared to San José, but this lodge is a place where you can fully enjoy the nature of Costa Rica.

Great hotel for birding

I loved staying in the forest bungalows away from the main complex. Hearing so many birds each morning was incredible as well as the bird feeding table by the restaurant.
If you are a keen birder this is a great place to stay, although be aware the forest bungalows involve walking up a steep gravel road and carrying bags up steps.
