Perfect hotel but horrible proximity catering

Quiet hotel, clean, with a warm and friendly welcome. Breakfast very good. On the other hand the restaurant just below is pitiful. Cold chicken, dry, crushed potato without salt, carrots without salt. We stopped during a trip between the Ariège and the Hautes-Alpes, this hotel is convenient, but considering the quality of the restaurant nearby next time we will go elsewhere. One suggestion: be able to have pizzas in the breakfast room of the hotel. That would be better than the local self.

PERFECT value for money

Having spent 1 week in this hotel, I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.
The staff is very pleasant and caring.
The PRM or single rooms are clean and the bedding is comfortable.
The buffet breakfast is varied and quality
Despite the proximity to the highway, there is no noise.

Very Poor and the whole hotel felt like it was not very well maintained.

Very poor experience. We have used Ace Hotels in France several times whilst travelling. This one was not very clean, 1 pillow each, had to ask for more which sent the receptionist on a hunt around the hotel to obtain more. This is situated within a very busy rest area of the motorway to Marseilles and yet there is no car park security to ensure your vehicles are secure. The bathroom was very small, the shower was very difficult to get in and out of, no hand rails to hold. The towel rail within the shower area was hanging off the wall. The security light which is obviously in the car parking area was constantly coming on during the night, which gave rise to the possibility that someone was lurking around the vehicles. The bed was not up to the standard of other Ace hotels we have stayed in. Got the feeling it had been another brand of hotel, taken over and just superficially refurbished. Very poor experience and one we will not repeat.

Road Trip Pit Stop - Pet Friendly

Great for a overnight stop on our way to Spain. Secure parking. Clean. Big bed. Hot shower. Rooms are small but fine. Coffee facilities. Attached to a service station. If heading south, you can access from junction adjacent.
