Far away from downtown with no shops around
Negative: my bed was not comfortable at all, very and very far from the center, nothing nearby on a Saturday night for dinner, the street in the works....it was scary to drive
It is only advisable if you do not intend to go downtown and tea you take dinner

Avoid this hotel chain at all costs
Two hours later, something unexpected happens, and I have to cancel the stay, or at least the second day failing that.
So I contacted their switchboard, which is chargeable, to find an arrangement.
I am sent an email box, I explain the situation as I did not have use of this stay - I did not even sleep or use the equipment in the room, not even a shower.
I therefore ask for an arrangement, an arrangement of the stay or even a gesture.
The response arrives at the end of the day (I did not check my emails in the evening), and it is negative, the manager does nothing.
During the day I call the switchboard because there is no reception in broad daylight - 2/3 p.m. - they send me to the famous reception which only opens at 5 p.m....
I tell myself that the machine or the reservation email would possibly contain an exchange/contact or arrangement process…
Nothing.
The machine simply validates my reservation directly.
The first night passes - I still don't spend it in this hotel.
I called the same hotel again in the morning to ask for even just a credit to use later.
And I face a categorical refusal from both the reception and the manager.
So in the situation I agree that I benefited from an exceptional offer, a favorable rate…
I agree that legally there is no obligation whatsoever to do anything.
But I have personally worked in the business for many years and I know how it works, and there is know-how and interpersonal skills that are not present in this hotel. I am convinced that something could be done but as a client we come up against a wall that is deaf to the unexpected events of life.
A blatant lack of humanity which means that I actually advise you against this franchise.
Pay more but go elsewhere, where the service will match what you deserve.
Furthermore, the manager said ironically “I am not going to refund the room or find an arrangement when my hotel is almost empty, what would be my interest? » The interest, sir, is the risk of having good publicity and loyalty. A sense of business is not for everyone. Change jobs, the hotel industry will be better off without you.
