Very clean, close to the center

Apartment with large bathroom, very clean, but facing the street. Cleaning on request, which is environmentally friendly. Sufficient parking in the courtyard, close to the center. Friendly staff, breakfast buffet not particularly great.

A house to feel good

Unpretentious. Friendly welcome at check-in. Coffee, tea and fruit available free of charge in the lobby. Excellent breakfast. Rooms lovingly furnished. The guest is king. The staff is very friendly.

Nice hotel

Perfect hotel for anyone that uses a wheelchair. All the rooms have been designed in an open floor plan. Bed was comfortable. Washrooms are w/c accessible. Breakfast was enjoyable. Would stay again The best time that I’m in the area

Excellent 4 night stay.

This is a great hotel in the centre of Detmold where we had 4-nights stay as a base for an activity holiday in the area.
The apartment room we had was very modern, well fitted out and extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very good and the staff were brilliant. The hotel must be congratulated on their inclusivity program and our breakfast was served by the most delightful chap (sorry, didn't get his name).
Detmold is a pretty town with some lovely restaurants nearby (we had Lebanese by the river and would happily go back).
The only negative is that our apartment faced ElisabethstraBe and its a busy one. The next door bakery starts work at silly-o'clock and they're not considerate to their neighbours. I think normally the windows would block any sound but we happened to stay during the hottest week of the year (35 degrees!) and closed windows were not an option. This isn't the hotel fault but I would recommend a room off-street if you like to sleep after 3am. Or maybe they could offer a portable air-con unit.
I don't normally give nor trust such glowing reviews but this hotel deserves it.

Wonderful Place would definitely stay here again.

The room was very open and spacious did not feel cramped at all. Parking was easy, and we arrived earlier than the check in and they allowed us to check in early. Room had a nice table and kitchen area. Bathroom was spacious, with a hairdryer, and shower.
