The family-run Parkhotel Sonnenhof offers Alpine-style rooms, a well-equipped spa area and a daily breakfast buffet. It is located in Oberammergau, just 12 mi from the Austrian border. All rooms at the Parkhotel Sonnenhof have a private balcony, light wooden furniture, cable TV and a modern bathroom. Free WiFi is also provided. Decorated in traditional Bavarian style, the Sonnenhof’s restaurant serves German and international food. On Thursdays and Fridays we will be happy to serve you in our restaurant Meat & More Cocktailbar in our Ludwig Residenz, which is about 656 ft from the hotel. During summer months, meals and drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace. The Sonnenhof offers a range of spa facilities, such as a bio sauna, steam room and an indoor pool. The ski-resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a 20-minute drive away.

Great experience!
Many amenities such as spa and pool, children's playroom and bar with many cocktails. Very friendly staff.
Hearty breakfast focused on salty.
The only flaw the rooms are not too "mountainous".

An oasis of well-being
The evening menu (we had half board) was excellent: varied, excellent taste, perfectly arranged and the products of good quality. Thank you to the cooking team for this service! The service staff were extremely friendly.
We all felt comfortable and can only recommend this hotel.
The rooms were also very clean and attractive. Only the bathrooms were very small, cramped and the pillows took some getting used to (but they could have been replaced...)
All in all, a hotel and a service that you can only wish for in other hotels.

Relaxing days in a very nice hotel with friendly service and very good food
The evening 5-course menu was varied and very plentiful.
