Westin Resort Costa Navarino is top in Europe
2022, 2023, 2024 and now this year my 2 friends and I spent the spring golf holidays in the Westin and on the great 4 golf courses.
The staff at both the hotel and the golf courses are very friendly and extremely helpful.
The breakfast buffet is just great and the staff makes getting up early easy...
And the bag service on the 4 very well maintained golf courses is still perfect. Thank you.
And the rooms are still practically furnished and are great cleaned daily. Top!

Outrageous prices for food and drink
The positive first: we stayed 1 week for golf on the Costa Navarino. Service and infrastructure around golfing were sensational!!
The hotel is huge with 445 rooms, even if it is spread over different buildings and is supposed to look like a village. Our room was newly renovated. The room itself was not so big, but the terrace with beautiful sea views. There were daily fresh towels, bed linen was changed every 2 days and coffee/tea was replenished every day.
The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and as few guests were in the hotel, the service was prompt and fast at all times. Due to the pre-season, of the min. 6 restaurants only 3 open, with one already closed at 18.00. Surrounding taverns were also closed. Therefore, dinner was difficult!
And here comes the really negative of the week: Prices for food and drinks are outrageously high. Of course, the price range in a 5-star hotel is not low, but here price and performance do not match in any way. For me, this was a real rip-off, so I wouldn't book the hotel again. Too bad - but that's not possible!

Great location, great service.
Spend three nights in the Westin Hotel in Costa Navarino. Had booked just a week before arrival through the Bonvoy App. Stay was early/mid October.
Traveled by car and was easy to find the exact location (even without Google maps you cant miss it).
Upon arrival our car was parked by the valet personnel and we headed to check in.
Check in was smooth and without any delay...very friendly and accommodative, besides doing the check in we booked a couple of restaurants for dinner as despite being late in the season the hotel(s) were pretty full.
Our room was as expected, spacious with all the amenities. He had booked a room with a private pool and close the the sea front. It was the last room on the right side of the corridor and therefore we could not fully enjoy the sunset.
The overall facilities were great, well maintained and with staff being everywhere to maintain and give information as the property is pretty big.
We used the gym, tennis facilities, beach and besides breakfast we dinned in Da Luigi (Italian), KOOC (Greek with a twist) and Armyra (seafood).
All three were excellent, with professional service and a good range of dishes to choose from. The wine list was extensive, however on the high side compared to other "upper" range restaurants in Greece. Overall very good dining experiences.
As mentioned before it is advisable to book in advance (even before arriving) to secure a slot in any of the restaurants on site.
Breakfast was excellent as well, anything you can think of is available!
Did enjoy the beach, as not too crowded, weather was excellent and water temperature was very manageable despite being colder than mid summer..
The service at the beach was excellent, very friendly and fast. All had a smile in their faces despite being close to the end of a long season.
Booked a tennis session (was taken there by the shuttle van) with a house coach that proved to be very satisfying. The courts were at a very good condition and reception very helpful. By the way, is advisable to book way in advance as the courts are pretty busy and hard to get at your preferred time..
The property also features a "square" where shops, ice cream and cafes are located.
Had visited Westin many years back and the expansion is enormous, and as we speak further villas are added to the property, without affecting the uniqueness of the location.
Overall a great stay at a great location...at this time of the year, maybe at peak summer time it can be a bit hectic.

Wonderful family holiday!
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it is absolutely beautiful. The staff are attentive and friendly, the resort is so tranquil whilst still having a variety of different things to do. It completely exceeded our expectations.
We travelled with our 2 children ages 1 and 4. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The Reception staff gave our children a welcome gift whilst we checked-in and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a family suite.
Our room was perfect. It was clean, well furnished and spacious. It overlooked the ocean and every evening we were able to watch the beautiful sunset.
The pools in this resort are fabulous. Several of them were heated which meant we were all able to comfortably spend time in the water (at the end of October/November) without getting cold. Our boys absolutely loved the water park, however they also really enjoyed playing in the other pools too. These were well designed with several shallow parts that our toddler was able to explore and play in. They were also large, peaceful and set among luscious greenery with stunning views. They manage to cater for adults and children simultaneously!
The beach within the resort was lovely, however we also really enjoyed exploring the beaches around the area . Voidokilia beach was a 15 minute drive away and one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve seen. The sea water was crystal clear and the water not too cold. Our boys also loved visiting the castle in Methoni (about 30mins away) and the beach next to it too.
The restaurants in the resort are nice. Service is excellent! We tried Da Luigi, Flame, Kooc Secrets and Armyra. Our favourite was probably Da Luigi or Kooc Secrets, but enjoyed all of them. Prices are what you would expect. We also ate in the Souvlaki restaurant for lunch which we loved and was very reasonably priced!! We had lunch one day at the beach restaurant. This is a little more on the pricey side,
Overall we were incredibly impressed and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel/resort. It really made our family holiday feel special and has given us memories we will cherish forever.

Amazing Place
The purpose of my visit was to attend an Eckhart Tolle retreat - which was amazing in itself but even more so in this incredibly beautiful setting! I reserved a Sea View Premium Infinity Suite, which was amazing. Not only was the view great, but the location was quiet, peaceful and convenient to the breakfast venue. The resort grounds and restaurants were all superb. Most importantly, all the staff I encountered were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I'm trying to talk hubbie into a future trip as well!
