Tolle Lage, sauberes Appartement, nette Vermieterin

Das Appartement bietet einen Blick auf den Vulkan Sakurajima direkt gegenüber, der fröhlich vor sich hin raucht. Die Vermieterin ist unheimlich nett, das Appartement ist sauber und verfügt über eine kleine Küche sowie einen Balkon. Es gibt zudem einen Fahrstuhl im Haus. Gratis WLAN ist ebenfalls inklusive.
Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten im Hafen, an der Fähre zur Vulkaninsel und beim Aquarium. Vom Bahnhof aus sind es wenige Haltestellen mit der Straßenbahn zum Appartement. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen!

Simple accommodation with a great view.

The big plus for the apartment is the view of the volcano across the bay. It’s a short tram ride from the train station and an easy walk to the ferry across to Sakurajima.
The owner doesn’t speak English, but it is very easy and quick to communicate via her daughter. The accommodation itself is well equipped - good to have a washing machine - but it is all very basic. For the price, we were happy with our stay.

Clean Apartments with Excellent Location

This guest house offers apartments that are clean and comfortable. The location is superb and the price is fair considering the surrounding hotels. You also have a view of Sakurajima from all balconies. The service is casual and friendly and great for travelers that want to stay in an apartment and feel like a local, rather than staying in a hotel or ryokan.
We travelled with kids and felt very welcome.

Belle vue, bien située mais bruit permanent de circulation

Nous sommes restés 3 nuits dans cet hôtel situé près du port. Il est situé à moins de 10 minutes à pied du ferry pour Yakushima, raison pour laquelle nous l’avions choisi. Depuis la gare de Kagoshima-Chūō, il faut compter une bonne vingtaine de minutes en prenant le tramway et en marchant un peu.
La chambre est bien équipée et a une belle vue sur le volcan de Sakurajima. Elle n’est pas très grande, le lit notamment était un peu petit pour deux, mais ça reste correct. Il y a un balcon mais la chambre donne sur une rue avec une circulation tellement importante qu’il est impossible d’en profiter et d’ouvrir la fenêtre. Même la nuit, on peut entendre le bruit de la circulation. Dommage car sans ça sa situation aurait été idéale pour une optique ferry.
