Not an infinite luxury but real and beautiful kenia!
A beautiful hotel at diani beach / galu beach in Kenya.
Very friendly staff and very tasty food.
We are in Kenya so everyone should be prepared for the fact that it is not as luxurious here as vllt in the Maldives!
There are of course super bars, great pools, super nice rooms in little cottages and the monkeys are insanely cute

There is an important point:
The beach is beautiful, but there are really many poor people who want to sell something to tourists. The local population is extremely poor and lives on tourism.
If you prefer an empty beach or luxury holiday in infinity pools, then this is not for you.
But if you want to see real Kenya, then here on the beach you get to know locals who show you their village where you get to know the culture. People are very poor, as I said, they almost need your Help center.
The hotels tell you something else, of course! They will tell you not to book tours or safaris with them and not to buy anything from them, but rather to do it all with the hotel or guide.
I advise you and ask you to try the regional tourist offices.
I went on a day trip on a wooden catamaran with sen locals at "Captain Mazda". Only my wife and I did a snorkeling tour with 2 Kenyans and were told a lot about the culture and the menachen!
Opposite the hotel is the office "Marco Polo Safari" which I also rated with 5 stars.
There I booked 4 days of safari and was incredibly satisfied.
This hotel gets 5 stars from me because I love it all! The facility, the food but also the people and the location.
For those who do not feel like Kenyans or talking to them, there is also a beautiful lawn with palm trees on the beach where no hotel stranger can go.

Successful holiday
One highlight is the monkeys. We laughed a lot at these cute little guys. You don't have to be afraid of them. They do nothing but steal food .
I would particularly like to praise the kindness of the staff. Everyone was very nice, helpful and constantly endeavoured to satisfy every wish of guests. The food was also great. You always find something and you can also try the African food.
The only criticism is the lack of minibar in the room. There's a fridge, but you have to buy drinks yourself.

Paradise in Kenya!
The rooms are structured in “two-storey houses (2 on the lower floor and 2 on the upper floor) very spacious and lit.
They are clean and equipped with everything that is essential and even more.
King size bed, large wardrobe, safe, power sockets everywhere (there are also USB sockets on the wall.
Kettle, bottles of water, tea, coffee sugar etc..
Air conditioning and also the ceiling fan.
The bathroom is spacious with a large shower, towels, mat, towels, hairdryer (with various accessories), shower foam, shampoo and moisturizer) Sink with a huge mirror.
Two restaurants: the main well run, variety of food for all tastes, very good quality, freshly cut fruit and a good variety of desserts.
The second, during the day is available for "snacks" (actually you can eat anything) and in the evening (upon reservation) typical Indian dinner.
The bar is located in the center of the structure, open from 10 to midnight, available all kinds of drinks.
Entertainment activities take place in the central area around the bar or in the swimming pool (which has a bar inside during the day).
In the evening there are the classic village activities (games, dance shows or typical African/Kenyan)
Clean beach towels are always available in the pool area.
In the garden area facing the sea, sunbeds with comfortable mattress are available.
(sore note: the rudeness of tourists who occupy sunbeds with the towel that they do not use for more than half an hour)
Along the entire perimeter of the resort there are guards who watch you when you go down to the beach.
The beach is white sand, long and clearly spacious depending on the tide. It's free and (unfortunately) invaded by the Beach Boys who are the sore note, obviously not the hotel's fault, definitely intrusive (but not dangerous) who try to sell you everything, and it seems they won't take no for an answer, getting them to leave you alone is quite difficult, and that's precisely why the security managers keep an eye on you when you decide to go for a dip in the sea. They make you feel protected!
The staff is the highlight of this wonderful place.
Everyone, FROM ALL SECTORS, are kind, smiling, stop to chat, of extreme kindness and absolutely professional.
Receptionists, Bartenders, Gardeners, Waiters, Cooks, Cleaning Staff, SPA Staff, Animators, Security Managers and finally the Manager.
There is really no one to pass you by without saying goodbye, giving you a smile or having a word, asking if everything is okay.)
It's a great place, worth every penny, it's perfect to relax and be dominated by the HAKUNA MATATA!
Complaining about anything in this place is really impossible!!

Fantastic Stay!! There are areas to improve on.
A change of the towels would be good. They are very old. Also work on hot water in the showers, it was barely available.
