Wow!
What a good mistake!
The plane trip landed at KB early and so I ended here at 10 expecting a long wait but was given a room to rest in until the room was cleaned.
I stayed in the barracuda room over the water with an awesome view of the fishing boats.
The rooms were fairly empty after a holiday weekend and I was looked after wonderfully by the host who took me into town on the back of his scooter.
I walked through the duty free zone and then back along the road to many hellos and it appears not a lot of whites stay near here. Lots of hellos
The accom was fantastic, clean and perfect in every way.
The staff were fantastic. I was surprised to be dropped off breakfast whilst sitting outside my room as not expected.
This is a great place to stay for a night, maybe do a river cruise but don't expect to be amongst hoards of tourists if you see any..
If you want to sit and recharge yoursslf then here is the place to stay and be felt welcome.

Good stay, clean and friendly
Good stay with good price. Room is clean and beautiful. Nice riverview, and can fishing too.
Just noisy in the morning because of the fishing boat etc. Otherwise, good choice of stay at Tumpat.
