A real scam
The advertisement said it was a 9-bedroom Villa, which was partly true. To begin with, the owner's house is not nearby, as the aforementioned Vrbo ad said (later curiously changed), but rather within the same property. In addition, he uses another room, the supposed restaurant, as an office and living room. Then there is the so-called 9-bedroom villa that turns out to have only 5 since the remaining 4 are in an old stable rehabilitated for this use with small rooms with little ventilation and full of humidity. All this announced under the protection of 3 rental management companies such as Vrbo, Homerez and Booking. In our case we made the reservation through Vrbo from August 6 to 13, which in turn reserves it to Homerez and these to its owner Antonio Luis Duarte. Everything turns out to be a big scam and nonsense with an even violent owner capable of raising his hand or sneaking into the house in our absence. The lack of response from all those involved to what happened is incredible, ruining the summer actions of 5 families with their children. The deposit was never returned by the owner nor the supposed Reservation Guarantee with Confidence from Vrbo has not yet been answered despite the countless calls to Customer Service and many other emails sent to Homerez and Vrbo due to the frustrating situation with the owner from the first day. In addition, 2 of the supposed rooms in the Villa were rented to other people through Booking to increase the nonsense. Thank you all for such a great deception.

Little communication, zero information
We booked through booking and after a while we received an email saying that the reservation had been canceled for not having made the payment by bank transfer, which we were unaware of because they had asked us for the credit card number. The bank account number that they gave us to recover the reservation did not work, in the end we managed to make the transfer and from then on the owners of the accommodation did not respond to any message about our reservation, so we did not know if when we arrived in Caminha we were going to be able to sleep or not.
Upon arrival you have to leave a deposit of €100, which is returned to you upon departure.
It is a separate building from the owners' house, where there are several rooms (ours was quite small) with a bathroom. It is in an urbanization outside of Caminha and there is no possibility of having breakfast in the house.
