Very good address - recommend!

Very good address! It is superbly renovated, everything is clean and very well maintained. The beds are very comfortable - the cushions may be a little high for some. We eat very well even it is a buffet - there is a wide choice and it is varied. We stayed there 6 nights!

good location

Location of hotel is good close to the caves and in a beautiful nature.
Walks from the hotel.
Hotel looks nice, rooms are good and everything is there except a wardrobe. There is room to hang your clothes but few cupboards.
First day the shower water was freezing but that was solved the next day
The food is buffet style and is not always replenished in time.
It is a large hotel and can sometimes be very busy especially when a symposium takes place.

Good hotel to improve

I booked in this hotel and all in all I would do it again! The hotel has a very nice and refined decor and the rooms are clean. Receptionist always kind and friendly. The hotel is located right above the caves and is a historic property that also has secret rooms that hosted top secret meetings during times of war. He doesn't have a spa, and that's very sorry. I strongly advise against half board. You extol a quality and sophistication in the dishes that just is not there. We chose the half board which was a flop in all respects. Breakfast is quite varied but with not high quality products, definitely not 4 stars. Definitely to be improved from a culinary point of view. But if you want to sleep in a place that has made history this is the right place! We complained about the restaurant and they gave us a small discount which unfortunately does not compensate for the two horrible dinners we suffered but otherwise nothing to say! Overall I feel like giving 4 stars because I had the feeling that improvement is around the corner!

The convenience of a hotel near the caves

Spacious rooms (maybe even too much), competent and helpful staff (a few exceptions for reception), good breakfast and dinner buffet. Negative note: given the cost of the hotel one would hope for free parking instead ...

Very valid but not gluten free!

The hotel is very good.
Level rooms, everything quite perfect.
But little sensitive to requests for special diets: no gluten free and lactose free.
In their opinion, gluten-free breakfast is simply choosing eggs and bacon but they do not offer any gluten-free sweet pieces or even bread.
Lactose-free milk was not there (despite our requests)
