Fantastic service but location is too remote
Every single attraction in Madrid is at least 15 mins away by taxi or 30 mins by public transport. Prices were comparable with central hotels, so there is little incentive to stay here.
Sound proof is lacking and there was not much facility to speak of. Definitely felt closer to a 3 star hotel

Charming Hotel in Great Neighborhood - Excellent in All Aspects

This hotel is a delightful find! Charming in every detail. Comfortable bed, delicious breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, short walk to metro and on a major bus route. Safe neighborhood with plenty of bars and restaurants. Will stay there again on our next trip to Madrid.

I really enjoyed my stay at Dormirdcine. The rooms are all themed after old movies, and are very clean. I find the service by the staff to be a bit lacking - I sort of felt like my presence was an inconvenience to them. Things got thrown away in my room that I didn’t necessarily want tossed - nothing exceptionally important, but it was frustrating. Madrid is a lovely city and I would most definitely stay here again, I do hope something changes about the customer service though.

This hotel is listed as 4 star but it's more like a 3 star hotel. The staff spoke some English but there were some communication difficulties so we found Google Translate to be very helpful. We travelled in October and there was no air conditioning, and the hotel didn't have a fan. The room was small and very hot, even with the windows wide open. On the plus side it was quiet and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We had no problems aside from the heat in the room.
This hotel is partially accessible for ambulant disabled but not for wheelchair users.
Great location for the metro and good food options nearby.

I Have stayed at this hotel several times due to the convenience of its location, but I have noticed that the hotel has declined and I do not consider it a 4-star hotel, but rather a maximum of 3 stars. During my visits, upon arrival, there was no electricity because they were doing maintenance, which didn’t bother me as I decided to explore the city. However, when I returned, I realized the air conditioning wasn’t working. I went to the front desk, and they told me that they don’t turn it on in October. I explained to the receptionist that the temperature was 78 degrees, and they said that the weather was not normal and that I should open the window. I tried to change hotels because the room was quite hot, but they refused to refund my money. I told them that they should note that they don’t have air conditioning, as I would not have booked with them if I had known.
