Great hotel

What an excellent and beautiful place to stay!!!!!! It is a quiet hotel with such an amazing view. You feel great and welcome also because the friendly staff.
At the end of the day sitting with a GT on the veranda you feel…………this is the perfect holiday.
We stayed 2 days and enjoyed the incredibly food as well the services

Nice location!

Nice location - with stunning views and fairly close to Kandy. Service was excellent as was the food - nice mix of local and western food. Let down by the quality of the rooms - really needs to be renovated.

An excellent choise, look no further

We stayed two days during our honeymoon in this hotel and we had an excellent experience! The accomodation was perfect, with lovely autonomous rooms, great looking swimming pools, and very pleasant stuff. The food was very tasty and relatively cheap. The power cuts were not a problem as there was a working generator and we had no issue at all. Strongly suggested!

The people were fabulous!

This hotel is privately owned by the family that originally owned the home and adjacent tea plantation. The cottages were private and it was a real treat to have our meals brought to our patio. It was our feeling that the staff were well looked after as they were soooo excellent. There were often little surprises with the birds and they took time to point out the fauna.
The two person jacuzzi bath was pretty fun!
It is a shame that there was a short time that a foreigner owned the hotel and he started to build an ugly two story building. We understand the current owners are going to destroy this building and return the hotel to the cottage charm.
We ended up here by chance when another hotel didn’t work but it was certainly a highlight of our holiday.

200% RECOMMENDED

We went here to stay two nights of our honeymoon trip and we were truly grateful visiting there, even though it is located somewhat far from Kandy. The place was soo relaxing, and the hotel staff was very attentive for each and every need of ours.
There were several options for us to select for our meals and the options were changed on daily basis. The food was delicious and table presenting was also very good.
There are five cottages and they are unarguably cozy, relaxing ones with all the amenities we expected to have. The bed was very comfortable and there was a jacuzzi as well.
Really enjoyed the two days here. Thank you Thilan; the hotel manager and the hotel staff for making our stay a memorable one.
