hotel in the middle of town

Nice hotel in the middle of town, Nice staff . The room was small but the bed was good and it was clean. The lounge is not cozy, and loud when all guests check in. the coffee is free. Coffee/tea is also available in the room. Good breakfast buffet. We had a room by a courtyard and it was so quiet that we could sleep with the window open!

Interfering piano music and poor service!

Note! When you book, you obviously have to mention that you want a "quiet room" because otherwise, if you're unlucky, you end up in a room next to the grocery store that has a piano in the store that customers can plink whenever they feel like it between 12-6pm. The acoustics are loud and no sound insulation so it sounds like someone is playing the piano in the room, so if you want to rest or work in peace in the afternoon, this is not possible. There's no compensation for being disturbed by the noise, either. The rooms are quite OK otherwise, apart from the noise and 0 soundproofing, and the breakfast is ok with, but poor service and unfriendly staff when complaining about noise. I will never live here again.

The location is very close to the Uppsala train station and has lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Thus, the location is very convenient. The facility is new and clean, and breakfast is also nice. The only problem is that if you do not have a mobile number available in Sweden, you need to ask the staff for hotel details.
