Great staff and architecture

Extremely nice staff. Great rooms and architecture. Very nice concept. I stayed there 2 nights on my own for professional reasons. I will probably come back with my family in this hotel that seems to be adequately thought do everyone and not only for people going hiking

Great concept with great offer! Absolute Recommendation

As part of the Family Shuttle Weekend we were allowed to park our VW bus in the parking lot of Story and use the whole infrastructure (shower, toilet, communal kitchen, washing machine, outdoor area with sandbox, bike garage and bike wash area etc.) for 25.-/vehicles and 5.-/EW, or 2.5.-/child. An absolutely fair price!
The welcome was very warm and Graham showed us everything and took great care of us.
The lodge and shop are simply a great addition to the coherent overall concept. Shop has a discreet selection of top bike products and the lodge/coffee/restaurant has delicious local and foreign drinks and food as well as a nice play area for the kids.
We would recommend the story at any time (even for groups) or as an alternative to camping nearby. The contact, whether via email in advance or afterwards as well as on site, was just always very friendly, helpful and we felt very comfortable.

Great place, highly recommended.

We had booked the hotel as a starting hotel for our ViaSpluga hike and were immediately delighted by the hotel. The hotel and rooms are modern and tasteful in a combination of wood and stone. There are many great little details to discover.
Breakfast we can only recommend. Fantastic with lots of delicious and special things.
The team is very nice and helpful and the place highly recommended.
