Clean room and rich breakfast served by the landlady

The room is bright and well-ventilated, with clean bathroom, sheets and pillows. You can see the undulating mountains outside the window.
The landlady also served breakfast for two times. It was very enthusiastic. The meals were also classic Chinese. It was very filling and gave me enough energy to go hiking. Haha, I can walk to the nearby attractions for a whole morning and leisurely walk into the mountains and forests.
This Yaxiu hotel really has a high CP value and is cheap. The room is not humid and the hot water is hot enough. It is not hot or cold. It is next to the old street. It is also convenient to buy souvenirs or local delicacies. It is very comfortable at night and has a good sleep.
I will definitely stay here again next time I have the chance. The only drawback is the parking, so be sure to pack something light before coming. It is best to travel with a backpack.

Delightful and convenient place to stay

My wife and I stayed at Yeashow Villa for two nights in order to hike the many beautiful trails in this area. We made the reservation on Booking.com. The Villa has an amazing location: It is located a block from the bus station and literally just steps from the train, which we took going back down on our return to Taipei. The price was very reasonable (pay in cash upon arrival). Our room was in a newer building a very short walk from the main building and was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing! One of them took us on an impromptu evening walk to a nearby grove to see countless fireflies blinking in the dark! He also ran after us to give us an umbrella when we were caught in the rain. Recommendations for places to eat were excellent. The only glitch was that the wifi router in the new building failed, so to do internet work we went over to the main lobby. Not a big deal, and they've probably already fixed it. Very enjoyable stay, and we highly recommend it!

Lovely place, surprsinngly quiet for mid-town.

I rented a room here, which wasn't in the main building but in a fully restored village house. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. The bed consisted of a mattress on the floor, but I knew before that this is customary in the region, so it is not a problem at all. The shower floods the entire bathroom, which was something new for me, but not a problem (perhaps this actually means more cleanliness than in conventional bathrooms). The only setback was that the hallway light was disturbingly bright, it was shining through a window above the door. I switched it off twice in the same night, but guests from other rooms switched it back on! With my jetlag, this disturbed my sleeping. A simple curtain above the door could help a lot here.

Staff went above and beyond

My wife and had booked our trip on the mountain railway well in advance so booked our accommodation at yeashow villa early too. However... Whilst planning ahead for our trip with multiple dates I booked us st yeashow A MONTH ahead of time! I messed up. This was only realised upon checking in.
The staff moved some things around AT THE WEEKEND and moved us to a bigger room than we originally booked. What a relief!
We had a great time in fenchihu and a very comfortable stay. For location,it doesn't get much better. About 60s from the train station

Cosy room and very friendly service

The room was very simple and clean. It is a family run hotel and they are very friendly and helpful. Our stay was quite enjoyable. When we checked in to the hotel, they gave us a short introduction of the area and where to visit. Also recommend a nice dinner place for us to enjoy a nice local food.
Just a note, the hotel does not have lift. However, they are very helpful to carry our heavy luggage to the third floor when we checked in and back down when we checked out.
