Great hotel for a short stay

Stayed here as a stopover on way to Ko Chang. Rooms are dated but still quite nice- even has old hifi system with cassette etc. lovely big comfortable bed.
They also have a kitchen with most things.
Rooms have plenty storage and nice toiletries.
Without doubt this hotel has the hottest water ever- they even have warning signs up about how hot it is- ideal if you want a bath. It also has the most powerful shower ever.
There is a very good breakfast with a big selection.
There is a bowling alley, ping pong tables and pool tables and a singer at 5pm at the Kantary cafe on site.
Two lovely pools with loads of sun loungers.
Negatives- a very small balcony for our room. Lifts could be noisy if you are near them. Food and drink cost much more than outside.
Great hotel for a short stay and I would recommend eating on the beach or at nearby Thai places. No english spoken but very friendly people with great food and drink and so so cheap.

Not to be missed if you are in the area!

Super and Fabulous place , loved everything about it . Food reasonably priced ! Rooms facing the Gulf of Thailand was the cherry, couldn’t just stop admiring the beauty . Very polite and helpful staff. Super clean and 7/11 shop near to the place . Will be there if I visit Rayong again ! Thank you

Do NOT miss this wonderful hotel experience

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in Thailand over the past 50 years but this hotel stay of 30 days was absolutely the best and most delightful hotel experience of my long life. I cannot say enough about the friendly, professional staff. They take care of everything. Oh, and the food is the best. Breakfast lunch & dinner. All top quality fresh foods even including vegetarian pizza and vegetarian food. But what really sets Kantary Bay Resort apart is the stunning, relaxing view oh the mighty Indian Ocean. Sleep to the sounds of waves crashing on shore. Walk along the beach and taste local Thai food. It’s always peaceful here. Come here and get your mind right. I’m returning in June for 90 days.

Personal quality hotel polite and serious

Back in this hotel for a second stay still very satisfying. We asked for the same room as last year and they gave it to us. Great professionalism.. our arrival was early and we still had our room. The second positive point. The room overlooking the sea was breathtaking. Well equipped shower and separate bath. Lack of pressure in the shower but the water is very hot. Perfect bedding. Safe hob freezer fridge kettle full of cupboards large table. For the hotel two pools a Jacuzzi sauna steam room restaurant bar bowling table ping pong billiards. Beautiful beach just crossing the road. two seven eleven has 200 meters.. good location. Less than 100 baths in grab from Big c and Tesco lotus and Old Town. Buffet breakfast well replenished compared to the other year. A little cold food. In short We feasted. Many thanks and congratulations for your professionalism. See you later. Jerome and Delphine

Great holiday

The hotel is designed for a full holiday! The rooms are comfortable with good furniture, chic beds and snow-white linen that is changed every day and towels every day. The room (studio) has a kitchenette with a two-compressor stove, microwave, thermal sweat, large fridge and a set of dishes for two. You can cook your own food if you don't want to go to the cafe. The toilet room has a sink, shower and large bathtub. The room also has a TV and music centre. On the balcony you can sit admiring the sea view. The hotel is clean and orderly, the staff is friendly from the heart! For holidaymakers, there are two saunas and a Turkish bath, which can be used free of charge at any time, a well-equipped gym, two swimming pools with umbrellas, sunbeds and Jacuzzi sectors, beach towels, tennis tables and billiards in the basement. Breakfasts are varied and delicious, natural juices of three kinds, coffee from coffee machine and custard, good tea, pastries are also delicious, fruits, vegetables, three kinds of soups. Across the street from the hotel is a beach with clean water and easy-to-walk sandy bottoms. By evening, mobile cafes with Thai dishes (no European) are set up on the beach, where you can spend romantic time under the noise of waves and illuminations. Near the hotel there are two 7/11 shops, three Thai food cafés, a little further there is a Korean café. You can walk through the mangrove forest that is located near the hotel. The hotel is certainly not in a tourist area, which is also a plus. On the weekends, locals come to the hotel and the beach and then it is a little noisy, but during the week the atmosphere is calm.
To buy fruit and groceries, we took a taxi to the supermarkets and the market in the centre (6 km from the hotel) because there is no place to buy fresh fruit near the hotel. This hotel certainly wants to come back one more time!
