Fantastic!

Fantastic location and amazing breakfasts. But worth more than money can buy? The amazing hosts! Stay here. Your every wish will be provided for and your stay will be perfect. The main sights are on your doorstep so it’s so easy to see what you’re hoping to see.

magical stay with ottoman feel

stayed here over 10 years ago, always wanted to leave a review but forgot until recently came across this hotel again. Had a lovely stay, friendly staff who went above and beyond to support with a number of issues we faced. room had a majestic ottoman feel to them.

Great location with views if u don’t mind stairs

My wife and I stayed in the upper deluxe room (which is up three flights of stairs, but is spacious and bright) for almost three weeks - excellent location with stunning glimpses of the Blue Mosque and Bosphorus. We stayed at this hotel with our family 10 years previously, and since then it has become a little run down. But if you don’t mind a little noise (buses unload tourists from 7:30am and of course the muezzins), it’s an excellent base from which to explore Istanbul. The value for money is great. If you want to book directly with the hotel you can find their number using Google Maps, but their English is limited. We relied on WhatsApp messages, which allows them to translate.

Even without expectations, this hotel is disappointing

How this hotel scores a 4.5 on Tripadvisor is a mystery to me. It deserves a big 1. Upon arrival, the employee complained about our suitcases, while we lifted them up and down ourselves - except for one. We did not get the booked room. They refused to speak to us in a decent manner and assumed that we did not understand Turkish. However, they told each other that we were right in our complaint, but that we had to be told an excuse that all rooms are the same. The photo shows that this is not the case. The room was not cleaned. The room was old, dirty and run down. Furniture has been thrown together and the bathroom smelled like sewage. A person entered the room without permission and when he saw that there was one more person present he quickly left without apologizing. This gave an unsafe feeling. Never again this hotel.
