Waltzing weasel great B&B
A perfect stop off on a university drop off trip.
From the moment we arrived Carole couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful.
Rooms were cosy and clean, views from room 5 were beautiful.
Loved smudge the cat
Breakfast was lovely from full English to fruit and cereals.
Fresh milk and load of tea choices in the room.
Ate at the local italian which was fab.
Lovely walk on the sett trail to new mills.
Will definitely return ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely stay
Spotlessly clean.
Good location with plenty of parking, less than 15 minute walk into Hayfield.
I had a roadside room but wasn’t disturbed by any traffic noise.
Breakfast was tasty and plentiful.
Would make a good base for walking trips.

Friendly, scenic and a must.
We booked a family room which was very spacious and clean with amazing views over the hills. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and fresh milk was supplied which was a nice touch.
Breakfast was fresh and hot and catered for most choices.
We were recommended a range of local
Restaurants for dinner all within a few minutes from the B&B.
Would really recommend this place if you’re in the area either sightseeing or walking, it’s a perfect base.

Great all-round experience in a traditional British B&B
- Ample, convenient parking
- Warm, friendly welcome from our host, Carol
- Good-sized attic bedroom, with good storage for coats and luggage
- Bathroom with shower and a bath!
- Nice little touches, such as: wine glasses, bottle of water, choice of hot drinks and cold milk from shared fridge
- Mammoth cooked breakfast
- Amazing service
