good stay, asked for a quiet room - did not originally get one, however went to reception and they sorted this straight away. Also the room i stayed in did not have a fridge, however they were happy to hold my items in the fridge until i needed them.

The area of the hotel is dirty and congested. The hotel is old and in need of revamp. The residents is loud and feels unsafe. The pictures do not match up to our stay at all

not what is described

This was book through our work system, the cost compared to a premier inn was much higher but the comfort, quality and cleanliness just wasn't anywhere near as good. This should mot be advertised as a 4 star hotel it is extremely misleading. My colleague had dirty sheets and the hallways etc were dated one of the lifts weren't working. The beds were also quite hard.

Brief stay

The location is excellent for visiting the sights. So close to 2 underground stations. Lovely friendly staff, particularly the lovely girl on reception Sunday and Monday. Extremely compact room but that’s London! Nice simple breakfast.

Easy check in with friendly staff. Room was adequate for a one night stay, clean and efficient. no A/C control, just an opening tilting window.
