Great hotel with a lovely bar and restaurant

So impressed with this lovely hotel in a nice area. Such great value for money. Our room was larger than expected for the price with a huge comfy bed and a lovely shower. The bar was really welcoming and cosy with a good wine list and a varied menu. Our food was delicious and the service was excellent. We would definitely choose this hotel again next time we are in this area.

The best experience in a restaurant in recent memory.

This place is special. The rooms are sumptuous, clean and spacious, the staff and management are friendly and helpful, but the food, oh my god. The food is incredible. You simply have to visit. I am not a foody at all but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, as did the others in my party, it was delicious. If you are in the area you have to try it.

Not great, not terrible. Did its job.

Not great, not terrible. Bed was comfortable, even if the coverings were a little on the thin (and thus slightly chilly) side. The bedside lights were missing their lampshades however, and the overall lighting in the bedroom could have been brighter. The building is quite set back from the road and the area is fairly quiet, so I wasn't troubled by traffic noise overnight, however the music from the bar below was quite intrusive with a thud-thud-thud travelling up through the floor until about 11.30pm, while the room above was clearly occupied by a herd of elephants as every footstep was audible to the point of feeling the vibration. The place really could do with more and better sound insulation internally. Thankfully things quietened down at midnight and I was able to get a decent night's sleep.
Breakfast the following morning was ok - the staff were very attentive and made a point to ask about allergies (good for them, as so often staff fail to even remember they exist) and modified the breakfast to accomodate. On the other hand I don't remember seeing any cereals (perhaps I didn't look hard enough) and the bacon on the cooked breakfast was rock solid. The sausage was cooked to perfection though.
Decent value for money, and parking is excellent with a large free carpark behind the premises. Car parking is often so difficult, that that alone means I'd be happy to come back if I need to be in the area again in future.
I can't do half-stars, but I would give it 3.5 / 5 if I could.

Noisy overpriced room

Our room was 104 and it was next to a refrigeration system which clicks on and off all night. This wouldn’t have been so bad if we had been aware of it and could have asked for another room or paid the appropriate price. The room was definitely overpriced for what we had to contend with. At 6am the kitchen starts it’s prep which was directly below the room, so no chance of sleeping in after a late night. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Great location, food was excellent loved it

Couple of days visiting Thorpe Park with the family, this was a great place to stay. Food was excellent, dinners & breakfasts, there are plenty of options in Weybridge for eating but we just didn’t feel the need to explore them. Loads of options and the kids menu was great too, especially for a 12 year old who can think she’s hard done by not getting an adult meal. Friendly staff, clean & comfortable rooms in a great location.
