Great location! A short jaunt to everywhere I wanted to visit. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for our luggage. Room had a mini fridge and a microwave which I was grateful for.

No pillows and music banging…

The hotel has clean rooms. However, how in the world do you have a king suite room, and don’t have any pillows for the couch. Do not stay in the rooms right on 4th street, as all you hear is music from the club with the neon lights. As a Gold member, very disappointed in this hotel. I should have gone with my gut and booked a room at the Aloft hotel.

THANK YOU MEREDITH OF COURTYARD AUSTIN DOWNTOWN

I had 15 minutes before my group tour started when I realized I got my period. Panicked, I checked Google Maps and saw the nearest 7-Eleven was a 12 minute walk away. I also needed to find a restroom, and the whole situation frustrated me.
As I was heading to 7-Eleven, I spotted the Courtyard Marriott. I knew they might have supplies since they offer essentials to their checked-in guests. I hesitated, unsure if they would help me since I wasn’t staying there, but I went in anyway.
That’s when I met Meredith. She didn’t hesitate to help me. I even showed her my Marriott membership and mentioned that I was staying at another Marriott hotel, but she didn’t mind—she just helped.
It was my first time traveling solo, and I remembered a friend once asking me about the people in Austin. I’ll always think of Meredith. Thank you Meredith!

Very bad Hotel!

This is one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. The service is horrible, hot water stopped working and is inconsistently working at best, lost package and front desk staff is not at all helpful, actually a staff member from another property offered to help and found it not the hotel staff. Meeting rooms are not kept with coffee, water, etc., we constantly have to go to the front desk and ask. Unless you love bad service, I'd look elsewhere!
