Lindani provided luxury level services

Sometimes an employee can make or break a visit. Lindani N. at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay lived up to the standards we have come to love and expect from Marriott. From the time we arrived, he was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. As a former front desk employee for another luxury hotel, I was quite impressed by his service. Although I always think I am special, I watched him treat every one who approached with the same top tier treatment. Things did not go perfect during my visit, but he was quick to apologize, made sure we were ok, and worked hard to make sure things were quickly corrected. His communication was excellent as well. If he said he would call, he called. He sent emails to confirm updates and left a voicemail to make sure I received the email. He is an awesome asset to the franchise and I pray Marriott gives him the same effort he gives his guest to make sure he remains a part of the Marriott family wherever he lives. There was also a young man, Zane, who served us at the Corner restaurant. He did a good job of making suggestions and did not give us a problem when I was unaware the salmon dish had so much corn in it. We returned to the same spot to eat later and looked for him but he was not working that shift. (Corner should provide a biscuit with breakfast or the ability to buy just one. The mgr was willing to let me get one after I brought up the issue. But guests should not have to jump through hoops or bother management to get 1 biscuit with their breakfast.)
Lindani made us feel so welcome that we decided to extend our stay. He really made our short cold stay feel like the perfect getaway that we needed. Although my husband is titanium, it is very rare that we receive the type of service Lindani provided. We even noticed an issue after we left. I called to speak to him directly because I know I can count on him to do what he said he would do it without issue. He is a rare gift to guest services and he could probably train or manage others to replicate his skill set.

Top Notch

Attended a convention and stayed at this great hotel for one night. It is a great location for the honky tonks and restaurants in downtown Austin.
The convention facilities were wonderful and the room elevators took you right to the main area. The food and beverages provided were solid and great service.
The rooms are clean and comfortable. What you’d expect at a top tier Marriott property.
Staff were delightful. Besides the Starbucks, did not try the bars or restaurant. Took a walk to 6th Street and had a fun time at San Jac Saloon with classic country music band.

Great location and accommodations

Great location and great accommodations! Just returned from a 2 day stay for a conference and can strongly recommend this hotel. Lobby bar was fun (probably depends on the crowd), restaurant in the lobby had a great breakfast, and gym was what you’d expect.

The hotel was in a great location. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
The room was nice but I noticed the bathroom counter top was not clean. The shower walls also had soap scrum.

Lovely hotel

This was a great hotel experience. Staff throughout was super helpful and the front desk even gave my son a cute stuffed animal when we checked in. The food was great in the restaurant and room service. Our room. Was very spacious with a good view and I loved the bathroom. The executive club was being renovated when we visited so I would like to return to see the new one.
