The hotel is nice, clean, quiet and in a good location. Hotels.com does not tell you about the deposits even though I paid in advance. It was not a planned stay, so really didn't research anything. Overall, I'm pleased. Breakfast was really good!

Fire Alarm Sounded Every Night & Shower Drain Clogged Every Night

Made reservations, arrived at location and while checking in I noticed that the Fire
Alarm Panel was displaying a "red light" on its systems panel.
I found out "why" during our 4 night stay....the alarm sounded every night just before midnight!! Now, did the front desk notify us or advise as to this fact...."No!" and every time I came by when it sounded, all they did is apologize and explain that the problem was reported to the service panel company but no resolution..... and did they care....again, NO! Did they consider advising guest as they came in during each stay OR post sign advising customers that the 'Alarm' would continue to sound OR even offer a discount for the inconvenience of minimal sleep every single NIGHT....again, "NO". Their Front Desk Manager always tends to speak minimal English and even with the person trying to be helpful, it is also frustrating that her response to me when I asked "Why didn't you advise me of this condition upon check-in?" And her response was, "I have been off duty for several days and I wasn't told about this situation." Now that is interesting on 2 points....(1) She was the only one on duty that night during 'swing' shift so she had to know how to silence the panel "per the National Fire Code!!" (Side note: "Yes, I serviced and worked on Fire Panels in previous life.") (2) This repeated event clearly demonstrates what the leadership style and Customer Service acumen of their Management Team. Lastly, this panel was still in "alarm trouble" condition when we checked out on the 5th day!!!
Next concern, I had a family member that stayed in the Disability Room adjacent to us during this stay and when taking a shower the water flowed out of the shower and in to the room because the drain was always clogged....Yes all four nights! When it was reported to Housekeeping, the lady was kind and apologized and explained that this room has been doing that for sometime. Are YOU kidding me! Yep, we had to always get extra towels and clean it up so that our family member wouldn't slip and fall!
Lastly, the rooms were good for the stay as it relates to beds, HVAC, Lights, Carpet.
Good location, parking is packed, more lighting needed around vehicles. Breakfast has always been very good along with the kitchen staff / housekeeping during our 3 stays.

When I arrived I stood at the counter for awhile as there was no one at the front desk. When she came from the back she greeted me and checked me in. I requested a luggae buggy as i had a lot of bags and a pack and play for my infant to sleep in. she told me that she didnt know where it was so my husband had to make multiple trips to the car. When we got to the room, the blinds were broken so we couldnt open or close the blinds, so it just stayed dark in the room during the day. Then I went to pull out the sleep sofa for my 5 year old and there were no sheets on the pull out. No problem. I called down and requested for bedding and a pillow and she told me, "Oh you can come down and get them from the front desk." Annoyed i just said okay. I expected them to be delievered to the room as it was already late. There was human hair in the King size bed and it looked like they didnt change the pillow cases. My husband went to tuen on the TV to try and catch some of the all star game, and as soon as he sat down the service went out from the direct TV connection, so he then missed the game. We were too tired from a long day of traveling that we couldnt even argue. we just checked out next day and stayed soemwhere else.

A good area to rest and relax but the bed was TOO SOFT and the walk-in shower floor and walls didn't appear up-kept, clean, around the drain had a mildew look, floor installation of walk-in shower on the outside appeared unfinished, ceiling in certain areas need plastering and plainting, bathroom door need replacing; towels needs replacing (too dingy), toilet paper not a good quality (grossly thin). Handdicaped Parking can be revisited (bring closer to hotel or install a handicapped ramp where there is lawn to avoid walking around to get to Hotel door.
