The room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, breakfast was decent - the best was freshly made, warm hard boiled eggs. Otherwise, okay selection featuring biscuits and gravy, assorted cereals, breads, muffins, fresh waffles, yogurt, juices, coffee. There are two floors with outside stairs, no elevator. The room smelled a little musty, but that may have been because they were just coming out of the winter season.

I traveled from 5hrs south to attend a funeral service the following morning and arrived after 11pm. The instructions were clear and easy to retrieve the key for the room. I never saw one person since I left fairly early around 8:30am. There wasn’t much for breakfast but I didn’t expect much since it’s probably their off season and it didn’t seem there were many people at the hotel. The only complaint I had was that the room was so incredibly cold maybe 30 to 40° No heat was turned on. There were two monitor heaters in the room and it took a while to warm up so I sat in my vehicle for about 20minutes while I waited. By morning it was cozy and warm. The room was very clean and the bed and pillows were very very comfortable! I would definitely stay again but I’d call ahead to make sure someone turned the heat on…even just at 60 or 65° would be acceptable.

Dishonest staff and management.

Never, ever, EVER consider staying here if you want to be treated with respect or honesty. Cod Cove Inn could not book the needed rooms after promising they would/could so I needed to cancel reservation. Normally not an issue with a Best Western branded hotel, however, the owners of this Inn (CC Hospitality, llc) refused to refund stating that cancellation was too close to stay date. Even after they were able to book the room so no loss of income, still would not refund. Fortunately, went through credit card to resolve issue but don't trust the staff, management or ownership of this hotel.

Have stayed here before, nice and clean and convenient to my needs. No daily housekeeping so had to go to the lobby for supplies when we needed them, ie, coffee for the room. This is probably seasonal due to it being winter

Perfect Location/ Comfortable and Welcoming

My family just thoroughly enjoyed a stay at the Cod Cove Inn. We visited Boothbay’s Lights Aglow and this was the perfect spot for overnight. The hotel is clean and very comfortable. The rooms warmed up quickly. We were graciously welcomed and every possible accommodation for a large group with four rooms was made. Breakfast was quick and good- something for everyone. I will definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to anyone staying in this area. Can’t wait to check it out again in the summer!!
