Our room was nasty. When we entered it smelled like mildew and cat pee. The tile portion of the floor was sticky - gross. Around 10 pm we located the source of the smell — the air conditioner was leaking into the carpet. It was so flooded that the carpet would squish. Nasty. I’ve taken a video of my husband’s foot squishing in it and the AC leaking but I can’t post it. They offered to move us but we declined at that point since we have a little kid and didn’t want to go through waking him and getting him resettled. We were only there for one night. In the morning, we found some blood on the sheets, near the headboard.
Staff and housekeeping were very nice. Breakfast was a free breakfast— not bad but not worth paying extra for either. Food was fresh.
We plan to reach out to IHG over the state of the room, because it was obvious in the morning light that this wasn’t a short term issue. It had been wet and mildewy for a while.
