Pretty nice hotel

It was a nice stay. Nice hotel actually. A sort of aged elegance. It’s like an old hotel in the new age so not really appreciated. A bit of wear and tear. Mostly you wish it was the 1980s or early 90s again (at least the good parts of that era). Staff were very friendly snd the room was clean. The shuttle driver was great. Friendly and helpful with luggage. Overall very nice stay. I would stay here again.

And I thought Marriott Hotels were quality

As I arrived I got out of my car to ask the valet attendant a question at his podium. He was writing something on a clip board and in the 7 minutes I stood there he never even acknowledged me. I gave up and walked off. What a wonderful welcome from the first person I interact with at this hotel. Next the lobby was large and had the look of a quality hotel until I get to the room. Open the door and the musty mildew smell smacks you right in the face. Upon inspection the room looks like a Motel 5. I know it’s a 6 but that is overrated for this place. Take a look at the photos and judge for your self if you want to stay at the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel.

Horrible, rude, and unprofessional

The evening staff for airport pickup are unfriendly rude, unapproachable individuals I have ever come in contact with. I wish I could get my tips back. I would prefer not to us the option for parking ever again. The hotel staff may be different.✌

We normally stay here the night before we fly out for Costa Rica, and this is at least our 4th stay here. Normally I am very impressed with the comfort and quality of the room, which is why we have always returned. This stay I saw a tiny bug on the nightstand when we got there, and I thought it was a fluke, and killed it and moved on. Then, when we woke up very early the next morning for our flight, I went to make a coffee in the room, and there were hundreds of tiny bugs by the coffee maker. It totally freaked me out, and disappointed me for the price point of the hotel, I don’t think I should have to share a room with bugs. We checked out super early and took the shuttle to the airport, so there wasn’t anyone even really at the front desk to notify of the issue. I hate leaving an unpleasant review, because we have always loved this hotel for our airport stays, but not sure we will return.
