Nice and clean hotel. The room smelled like pizza for some reason—reason could not be found. The pool and hot tub was nice. Breakfast only open until 9AM!

5 STARS IN EVERY WAY!!!

We stayed at the Springhill Suites Kalamazoo-Portage two weekends in a row, with our high school wrestling team. Both times, the staff went above and beyond with their accommodations and hospitality. Upon arrival for our MHSAA team state finals event, the hotel even had "welcome" water bottles waiting for us, complete with our high school logo printed on them! The bartender was quick to recommend local restaurants for our catering needs, the security was kind and welcoming, and the front desk even allowed for late checkouts to help out family members who were there to watch their wrestlers compete. This is ALWAYS our hotel of choice when staying in the Kalamazoo area and we hope to continue going back year after year with our team. We cannot say enough positive things about everyone who works there or the cleanliness and excellent location of the hotel. It's rare to find such hospitality these days...way to go!

Excellent location. Close to Wings Stadium. Beautifully decorated. Much nicer than I anticipated. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet. Highly recommend.

Wonderful stay and experience

Very clean room. The breakfast was great DJ the staff were amazing. A special shout out to manager, Kevin and staff, Katie. They were so kind and helpful as was all of the staff. If you want a nice, clean, comfortable place to stay, this is a good pick.
The pool was heated and nice as well.

Great hotel to stay at!

Great hotel! Rooms were large and was especially nice to have a seating area that was a larger couch and didn’t have to just sit on the beds. Rooms and hotel were very clean, staff was super helpful! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back !
