The staff alone makes this place worthy to stay at
Later, when I wanted to buy some snacks and drinks from the lobby, Barbara went the extra mile by scanning the items for me, as I couldn’t see the screen. Little things like that made a huge difference!
The room itself was clean and well-equipped. I especially appreciated that my key cards never stopped working due to cell phone interference—a common problem I’ve faced at other hotels. This time, both of my keys worked perfectly, even after going in and out of my room at least 16 times over the course of my stay. The room also came with a stovetop, full refrigerator, dishwasher, pots, pans, and utensils, which made it feel like a home away from home.
My next interaction was with Dolores. I needed to extend my stay by one night, from the 15th to the 16th, and since my original booking was through my employer, I wasn’t sure how to handle it. Dolores patiently walked me through my options and explained the pricing. She went above and beyond by documenting my account and applying points that hadn’t been credited yet.
Finally, I interacted with Cat twice. She finalized my extension and provided me with extra room essentials. Cat was professional, courteous, and took the time to explain everything clearly.
This was my first time staying at Homewood Suites, and it exceeded my expectations. I truly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back on my next trip to St. Louis!

The first room we checked into had a drain in the middle of the floor of the bathroom. I could smell sewer gas in the bathroom and ask if we could change rooms.
The first night we slept in a room that faced highway 170. The traffic the next day was difficult to cope with as I was in the room much of the day. So we changed rooms again.
The 3rd room was nice size and a great bed. I went to cook, and there was only one plastic pot that had not been cleaned to cook with. And there was one lg. spoon to cook with. I ask at the desk if I could have a fry pan and a spatula. She said it would be brought to my room. However I never saw them.
I used the work out room which was clean and very well equipped.
