Amazing homestay

We were in SaPa for just two nights, and decided to spend one night in SaPa town, and one in a homestay. What a great decision! It's such a beautiful, peaceful place. You can't help but marvel at the amazing views, being so close to the rice fields and the river. The owner Zoly (pronounced Jolly) was so warm and welcoming, and she really did everything to make us feel at home. For breakfast you choose the night before from a small but varied selection, and in fact it was very nice. We also ate there in the evening too, when there's a larger menu, and it was also good. The rooms are little individual chalets, pretty and spotless. On the day we left we checked out in the morning, and went for a long walk through the neighbouring villages. Zoly looked after our bags, and when we got back to pick them up she let us back into our room so we could have a shower, and supplied us with clean towels. One thing to note is that the homestay doesn't accept card payments, just cash. As it turned out we didn't have enough cash, but it wasn't a problem because Zoly was fine for us to get the hotel taxi back to SaPa at the end of our stay, and give the money to the driver. Which was lucky for us, and very kind of her! If you're visiting SaPa, you really must stay in a homestay, and I doubt you'd find a better one than the Farmer House homestay.

Excellent place to stay

We stayed for three nights at the farmer house and loved it. It is such a beautiful, peaceful and clean place. The manager Zholi and her staff were very helpful and professional. the food is simple but spot on. Highly recommend!
