Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport is the main airport in Mauritius and is located around 50 km from the capital Port Louis. The airport consists of two passenger terminals including a new terminal which was opened up in 2013. Getting from the airport to your destination is best achieved by taxi which can be arranged inside the airport. Alternatively, there are a few public bus routes serving the airport if you are on a tight budget and car rental is also an option.
