Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the main airport in Stockholm and the busiest in Sweden, consisting of four passenger terminals with international flights handled at Terminals 2 and 5. The fastest way to travel into the city is on the Arlanda Express train network, although there are also bus services available and plenty of taxis. Dubai International Airport is the UAE’s busiest airport and is made up of three passenger terminals. Getting to the airport is possible on the Dubai metro network which will take you directly to Terminals 1 and 3, although there are also bus services available and extensive short- and long-term parking. Passengers flying with Emirates will need to reach Terminal 3, while Norwegian flights are based out of Terminal 1. There is an almost endless range of retail, designer and duty-free stores available at Dubai International Airport to help travelers pass the time, while you can also choose from many different dining and drinking spots serving up everything from quality restaurant cuisine to cheap eats. Other luxuries provided to travelers include rest zones, free Wi-Fi access, spa treatments and numerous airport lounges.
What to Expect in Stockholm
The weather in Stockholm is going to be a lot cooler than Dubai across the year, although over the summer you can enjoy pleasantly warm temperatures with average highs of around 20 degrees.
