Airport Information - Arriving
Mactan Cebu International Airport is comprised of two passenger terminals which includes the brand new Terminal 2 which opened in 2018. All international flights are handled at Terminal 2 which offers excellent facilities and amenities. When you have touched down at the airport you can travel into Cebu City by bus, hop on a jeepney or rent a car. The airport itself is home to all the amenities and facilities you would need including duty free shopping and plenty of cafes and eateries to satisfy your appetite. Since the addition of Terminal 2 to the airport, travelers can now access many more retail and fashion brands along with plenty more culinary choices. If you need access to the internet you can visit the business center on-site to get online, while the airport also has its own massage center to freshen up before flying out.
Airport Information - Departing
Dubai International Airport is the world’s busiest in terms of international passenger traffic comprised of three terminals. Terminal 3 is the main hub of Emirates flights and you can travel directly to the terminal using the Dubai Metro if you don’t want to take a taxi. Inside the airport travelers can look forward to a huge selection of designer and retail shops alongside duty-free shopping, while you will also be able to choose from one of many restaurants, cafes and eateries. Other amenities available at the airport include free Wi-Fi and many airport lounges offering luxury and comfort. Terminal 3 is also one of the few airport terminals in the world with sleeping pods, so you can conveniently catch up on some sleep before your journey.
What to Expect in Cebu
In Cebu the weather stays relatively consistent throughout the year with highs of between 30C to 33C to be expected. There are plenty of hotels in Cebu catering for every budget. The region sees a lot of rain each year, so if you want to avoid the worst of it then visiting sometime between January and May would be ideal.
