Airport Information – Arriving
Bacha Khan International Airport is comprised of a single terminal building operating both international and domestic flights. The airport offers ample facilities for passengers including a selection of places to eat as well as basic shops. The airport is the fourth busiest in Pakistan and is only around a 20-30 minute drive from the center of Peshawar. Renovation and expansion work which begun in 2016 was recently completed in 2018 so you can expect a modern and updated terminal building.
Airport Information – Departing
Passengers flying to Peshawar on direct flights will be leaving from Dubai International Airport, the busiest international passenger airport in the world serving around 90 million passengers annually. The airport is home to three passenger terminals which offer flights to destinations all around the globe. Passengers flying with Emirates will depart from Terminal 3, a terminal dedicated exclusively to Emirates flights. Those flying with Pakistan International Airlines and Airblue will board their flights at Terminal 1.
Terminals 1 and 3 at Dubai International Airport are connected to the Dubai Metro network, while Terminal 2 is linked by a free shuttle bus service. Passengers needing to travel to the airport from the wider Dubai area can utilize the Dubai Metro network or simply hop in a taxi. Private vehicle owners will find that the airport offers ample parking both short- and long-term.
What to Expect in Peshawar
