Once you have landed at the airport you can travel into the city of Madrid on the Metro Line 8 or by bus if you would rather use public transport than a taxi. Numerous car rental options are available at the airport. The airport itself is one of Europe’s largest and offers a wide range of amenities for travelers to enjoy. Alongside a large selection of shops where you can find duty-free goods, luxury brands and travel basics, the airport is home to a sizable number of places to eat and drink if you want to grab a bite to eat before your journey.

Ibiza Airport is situated just 7km outside of Ibiza Town and is the primary international gateway to the Balearic Islands. The airport is comprised of a single passenger terminal and offers a broad range of services and amenities to keep travelers happy. You can find plenty of restaurants and cafes at the airport if you want a bite to eat before your flight, while there is also extensive duty-free shopping available to pick up some last-minute goods and gifts. The airport also provides free Wi-Fi for all travelers and is home to the Cap des Falco airport lounge which travelers can enter for a fee on the door.

What to Expect in Madrid

The weather in Madrid is hot and sunny over the summer and stays mild during winters just like Ibiza so you won’t notice much of a change in the climate.
