In Dubai the two international airports serving the country are Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), with Dubai International Airport currently operating as the primary airport. Travelers looking to fly from Seoul to Dubai are able to catch flights with either Emirates or Korean Air. Be advised that both flights land at Dubai International Airport and depart from Incheon International Airport, Seoul’s main airport.

Airport Information - Arriving
Dubai International Airport is the world’s busiest airport in terms of international passenger traffic handling over 83 million people each year. The airport is made up of three passenger terminals which you can travel between either on the Dubai Metro or by shuttle bus so you can transfer between flights easily. Once you have landed at Dubai International Airport, the most convenient way for you to reach the center of Dubai is on the Dubai Metro departing from Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, although taxis are readily available outside all terminals.

Incheon International Airport is South Korea’s busiest airport offering a huge range of amenities and services for travelers to enjoy. Once you arrive at the airport you will be able to browse through a wide selection of shops including duty free shopping or satisfy your appetite at a restaurant. There are also many more things to do while you wait for your flight as the airport offers its own golf club and is home to seven different gardens. If you don’t want to drive or take a taxi, the fastest way to get to the airport from Seoul is on the A’REX train service.
What to Expect in Dubai
In Dubai you can expect the weather to be a lot hotter compared to Seoul throughout the year so be prepared for the heat. South Korean nationals flying to Dubai are able to enter the country by obtaining a visa upon arrival, while Dubai is 5 hours behind Seoul so don’t forget to wind back your clocks when you land. Getting around and exploring the center of Dubai is possible by public transport on the Dubai Metro, although you may want to rent your own car if you wish to explore outside of the city.
