Airport Information - Arriving

Dubai International Airport is a large airport with three passenger terminals which are all easy to transfer between. At the airport you will find a huge selection of shops with everything from designer stores to duty free shopping available. There are also many different places to eat and drink at the airport such as top restaurants, fast food outlets and cafes serving up a variety of cuisine. If you need to transfer between terminals you can either use the Dubai Metro from Terminal 1 to Terminal 3 or use the free shuttle bus provided to get to and from Terminal 2. Once you have arrived in Dubai you can reach the center of the city on the Dubai Metro or find a taxi outside either terminal at all hours of the day.

Airport Information - Departing

Zurich Airport is located only 13km outside of the city of Zurich and is comprised of three passenger terminals - Terminal A, Terminal B and Terminal E. The main terminal for non-Schengen flights is Terminal E, although some flights also depart from Terminal B to non-Schengen nations. At the airport there are many different shops to enjoy including many in the Airside Center which connects all the terminals. You can also select from many places to eat and drink and enjoy other amenities such as free Wi-Fi for up to 2 hours. Getting to Zurich Airport from central Zurich is possible on public transport either by tram or bus if you don’t want to catch a taxi.

What to Expect in Dubai

In Dubai you can expect the weather to be far hotter than Zurich and it stays that way all year round. However, if you want to visit when temperatures are a little cooler then the best time to visit would be between November and February.
